I tend to value predicting the correct outcome over actually achieving the outcome I want.
I guess I wouldn’t rather be right than happy, but I’ll settle for the former if it means avoiding potential failure.
I use I-told-you-sos to cover up disappointment in my shortcomings, time after time.
